Wheat export sales were even lower than expected. The main buyers were Jamaica, Japan, Yemen and Nicaragua. Corn bookings were in the middle of expectations at 25 mbu., up 33% from last week, but 19% below the 4-week average. Japan, Mexico and Egypt were the largest buyers. There was a cancel by “unknown” of 5.2 mbu. Soybean sales were off 7%, with Taiwan, Japan, and the Netherlands the big buyers. Meal sales were also strong, to Canada, France, Algeria and Saudi Arabia. Soy oil bookings were a poor 8,000 tons, when 20-40,000 were expected. “Unknown” bought 7,000.
