(October 3, 1997) METALS: GOLD–Even though we may not get a lot of profits out of our current longs, this move evidently is a harbinger of more upward price movement, and there will be additional profits on new long positions. Prices are correcting or consolidating a bit after the recent runup which created a bit of an overbought situation.
