(October 29, 1997) CORN: December corn has been a near mirror image to November beans having fallen into a 15-cent trading range (280-295) following its vertical 8-day upside charge (255-295) since the beginning of the month.

Export cancellations, needed rain in Brazil and plummeting stock market all conspired to keep this market on the defensive. Impressively, 2-week lows (280) have held this market through recent bad news. Go with this market on 10-15 cent breaks using put options stops under 275!
