Soybean sales were within the range of trade estimates. The EU is definitely still taking U.S. origin, with the major buyers being Spain, the Netherlands, unknown, Mexico and South Korea. Meal sales were a shocker, 400% of the 4-week average, and 50-80,000 above estimates. Malaysia, Italy, Venezuela, Australia and Philippines accounted for 129,000 tonnes. Corn sales were slow as anticipated, to Asia, Spain and Mexico. Wheat sales were once again above estimates, with major sales to the Philippines, Japan, Iraq (first since '90), and Thailand. The new-crop sales went mostly to Israel.
