Corn sales were much above trade estimates, due to an irregularity in reporting. There were 36.44 mbu. sold to Japan, but 23.5 were listed as “late reporting.” A cancellation of 11 mbu. trimmed the net sales.

Soybean sales were on the high end of trade estimates, with 7.3 mbu. to “unknown.” Japanese buying of 6 mbu. was inflated by late reporting of 4 mbu. Wheat bookings equaled the 4-week average, led by Pakistan, Japan and Iraq.
