THE WINDY CITY TRADER

P.O. Box 1673, Chicago, Illinois

(December 16, 1997) COCOA: Cocoa rallied on two key factors. The Ivory Coast has reduced crop estimates by 250 tons. Also some disease was noted on pods in the Ivory Coast. This news sent shorts scurrying for cover and speculative El Nino's longs were the beneficiary. We still expect 2 sided trade from 1600-1800 for a while.
