(December 5, 1997) SUGAR: On the choppy merry-go-round again with our new longs. Commercial buying is acting as support on each intraday dip in prices yet was insufficient to move prices significantly higher. The Brazilian dock strike is bullish for the time being as is talk about Russian purchases, but these factors are negated somewhat by improved Indian stocks.
