(December 5, 1997) COFFEE: Unfortunate that our stops were so close that we got taken out prematurely from our longs and had to re-buy this morning. The drop in prices on the open Thursday came from weaker London prices and evidently does not accurately reflect the fundamentals of small Brazilian stocks for export after the small 1997 harvest.
