Corn exports were even stronger than expected, at 1.2 mmt, 47 million bushels. Japan, Mexico, Taiwan, and Egypt were the largest buyers. Soybean sales dropped from last week, but were above the 4-week average, with reductions of 16.5 mbu. in the “unknown” category paring back net sales to Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and China. Meal sales were the worst of the marketing year, including cancels of 45,100 MT. Wheat bookings were as expected, just 2% off of the 4-week average. Iraq, South Korea, Egypt, and Sri Lanka were the largest buyers. Soy oil sales included 47,000 tonnes to China; 12,500 to Hong Kong.
