(November 14, 1997) STOCK-INDICES: VALUE LINE; Most sessions lately have been volatile-and two--sided where prices move in one direction sharply early in-the day only to reverse and close the other way or virtually-unchanged. We've never seen this type of market behavior for such-a protracted period of time, and we may not be seeing any new-signals for a while as a result of these schizophrenic price-patterns.
