(October 31, 1997) SOYBEANS: Prices are trading weaker as a lack of fresh, friendly news pressured trade according to floor sources. Traders are reportedly watching the Dow for short-term direction in this market and the other members of this complex.

SOY OIL–Some small profits from our longs and prices topped out sharply as funds liquidated their longs and went short. There was no news of consequence, just an overbought condition.
