Personal income increased $19.4 billion, or 0.3 percent, and disposable personal income (DPI) increased $15.3 billion, or 0.3 percent, in May, according to the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). Personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $15.9 billion, or 0.3 percent. In April, personal income increased $14.9 billion, or 0.2 percent, DPI increased $11.3 billion, or 0.2 percent, and PCE increased $6.4 billion, or 0.1 percent, based on revised estimates.
