Soybean export bookings were very slow for old crop, strong for new crop, as rollovers and cancellations offset export sales to Indonesia, Mexico and Japan. The new-crop figure includes 9.5 mbu. to unknown. Wheat is now fully into new-crop reporting, with a solid 20.7 mbu. sold last week to Egypt, Mexico, Japan, Turkey, Iraq and Ecuador. There were 37 mbu. carried over in unshipped '96/'97 sales. Corn export bookings were 8% under the 4-week average.
