Corn export sales were off 20% from last week, and 16% below the monthly average. The main buyers continue to be Japan and Taiwan. Soybean bookings had been expected to be between 6 and 11 million bushels. Old-crop sales were 8.8 and new-crop were 2.6. Old-crop wheat bookings should go to about zero in May, and they are slowing. Fill in business went to Japan, Jordan, Egypt, and Nigeria. <169>Unknown destinations<170> and Mexico were the largest buyers. Meal export bookings continue to be robust, with total commitments 150% of the figure this time last year.
