800-551-4626(November 19, 1999) PORK BELLIES: The typical belly stocks cycle goes into the build up phase from the October report to the June report. There was only one estimate out on the wires at 14.1 million pounds. ALDL released a 24.9 million pound estimate to our customers earlier this week. When the final 22.5 million pound total was released, it is clear that the weekly reports cannot be trusted. This will be considered a bearish number and we would look for a gap lower open on Monday. From there, we will see if the market will trade the report further or turn its attention elsewhere. Stand aside for now.
