(March 22, 2002) WHEAT: May wheat closed at $2.81 ¾ per bushel down a quarter cent after trading as high as $2.85 ¼ on fund buying. Recent gains provided the momentum on Friday and profittaking in front of the weekend was light. We like wheat but prefer soybeans.
