(March 1, 2002) WHEAT: May wheat gained 2 ½ c per bushel to close at $2.78 ½ on a technical correction after trading at contract lows. We are on the sidelines here also since demand is lower than earlier expected since the strength in the U.S. dollar makes U.S. grain non-competitive. We are on the sidelines here also.
