414-351-1992(February, 2002) CURRENCIES: The franc closed lower in the third month of decline during December and that amounts to a bearish forecast for several more months. There are old lows around 55.00 and that is a logical target of the next leg down.
The Eurocurrency is quickly losing value and seems to be headed for a test of the last bottom at 8344. Potentially, the week ending February 22 will be the seventh week of decline and that will be the time to watch for a positive change in trend. Any near-term recovery will have a tough time rising above 8800.
