(March 20, 2002) SUGAR: Quiet trade, with consolidation the primary feature. Near term tight supplies may offer support to sugar for the near term, but longer term, Brazil's huge sugar crop may send sugar to Palookaville in short order. Adding salt to the wound, China's sugar production is expected to be up by around 20% to 7.5 MMT.
