(March 15, 2002) COFFEE: May coffee closed at 5560c per pound down 5 points in quiet pre weekend trading. Trade buying brought prices back up from the 54c level towards the end of the day but doubts remain as to further price direction. We are on the sidelines but would prefer the long side if pushed. We do not like, regardless of technicals, being short anything that grows, at or near historic lows.
